Answer:

Wolf Dual Fuel Ranges and L Series Built-In Ovens came standard with blue porcelain rack guides prior to serial# 16,000,000; the blue porcelain rack guides can stay in the oven during self-clean. Starting with serial# 16,000,000, the rack guides are chrome and must be removed for self-clean. 
Porcelain rack guides cannot be replaced with chrome because they mount differently.
Ball Bearing racks cannot be used in ovens with porcelain rack guides.
