Troubleshooting:

The "Vacuum Condenser" message appears when the unit is not running efficiently or temperatures are too high. This can be due to a dirty condenser, a door sealing issue, or a problem with the unit.

  1. If temperatures are high, call for Factory Certified Service. Ideal temperatures are shown below. Please note it is not safe to keep food at temperatures greater than 45 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. If temperatures are near normal, turn off the unit and Clean the Condenser.
  3. Verify nothing is blocking the door from closing. See Door Closing Troubleshooting.
  4. Turn the unit back on. This resets the message and it should no longer appear.

If the unit still experiences returning "Vacuum Condenser" messages after completing the troubleshooting steps above, monitor the unit temperature.

  1. Refer to Measure Temperatures in a Refrigerator or Freezer for instructions.
  2. If temperatures rise, contact Factory Certified Service to schedule an appointment for repair.
  3. If the unit is maintaining set temperature, the product can still be used until service is available.
    • "Vacuum Condenser" flashing indicates unit is not as efficient as it was when it was new.
    • It is normal for a refrigerator to lose some efficiency over time.
    • Continue to monitor unit temperature.
  4. If the unit does not maintain set temperature, service is necessary to expertly diagnose and repair the product. Contact Factory Certified Service to schedule an appointment for repair.
