Sub-Zero and Wolf Introduce New Continuing Education Course

New 'Green Kitchen' course focuses on energy efficiency and healthy living

MADISON, Wis. (June 17, 2009) – Sub-Zero and Wolf recently announced the addition of a ‘Green Kitchen’ course, the newest offering in the company’s Continuing Education Series that includes four other courses for qualified professionals in the design industry. Partnering with CS Learning, Sub-Zero and Wolf offer free courses through a distance learning program as an educational tool for designers and dealers who want to retain professional certification and maximize their skills and enhance their career.

The new course focuses on important and relevant topics related to designing a green kitchen. Some of the main concepts include: Net-Zero energy and the need for energy from renewable resources, an overview of the green residence, design details that make refrigerator, cooking and exhaust systems more or less efficient, and the problem of negative air pressure.

The course is the latest addition to Sub-Zero and Wolf’s Continuing Education Series, the others are: Design Elements of Winning Residential Kitchens, Residential Kitchen Ventilation, Sophisticated Residential Cooking Appliances and Sophisticated Residential Refrigeration Appliances.

All courses are certified by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) and once completed, provide members with .1 Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credit.
