Judith Baigent is the owner of Culinary Concepts, which she founded in 1992, after teaching cooking for over 20 years. She had a particular vision for her school, which she describes:
"I thought that a school that functioned along the lines of Guilliano Bugiali’s school in Florence, Italy was a better way to teach. An interactive school where students work along side the instructor to create and become inspired. In my thirteen hundred square foot classroom we can have up to 24 students creating dishes at the same time. Our school has no particular style of cooking. Each teaching chef brings their own cooking style and specialty, so the recipes have international appeal. Each brochure, we try to teach new classes with new recipes so we kept the program interesting and different."
Judith and her Culinary Concepts students have had a long-standing relationship with Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances. "My student’s fascination with the Sub-Zero refrigerator is constant. Most cannot believe a refrigerator is behind those panels that beautifully match and fit in with the cabinetry. Once a refrigerator door is opened their next experience begins. Everything is within reach and the display panel assures you everything is in perfect working order or informs you if some part needs to be cleaned."
