Where do you find design inspiration?
Our clients come to us with a dream and a vision for their new kitchen. Over the years I have found that most of our clients have great taste and ideas. They just need encouragement and a little help refining their concepts so for us our clients dreams are our inspiration.
How do you approach the design process?
I think of it more as an enabling process. I work with a team of very talented professionals. Each one from the cabinet maker to the tile setter who finishes the backsplash interacts with my client and adds a portion of their design sense to the project. Some of our best features come from suggestions made by our subcontractors as they get to know the client.
What makes your aesthetic stand out amongst other designers?
We are very hands on. I build a lot of the custom millwork items that are featured in our projects in my own shop. I feel that it is this custom work that makes each of our projects unique.
What is the greatest value you provide to your clients?
That I work with a stable team of subcontractors. Since they work together often they know exactly what is expected of them and what they can count on from the other tradespeople. All of my team has a genuine desire to please our client and take great pride in the quality of their work.
