Know for their sandwiches and side dishes, The Laundry has become quite a fixture in Fenton. Their bread is baked daily by Crust, a bakery by the same owners, just blocks away. Chef Jody will demonstrate an array of picnic basket favorites including their Peppered Ham, Salami and Asiago Cheese Sandwich on Tomato Focaccia, "Veggies in a Blanket" with Fresh Vegetables, Artichoke Hearts and Roasted Red Peppers with a Scallion Cream Cheese on a Whole Wheat Lawash Wrap, a Mediterranean Couscous Salad with Tomato, Cucumber, Kalamata Olives and Feta Cheese and a Marinated and Grilled Chicken Platter with a Dijon and Balsamic Vinaigrette surrrounded by Cornichons, Pickled and Fresh Veggies, Artisan Breads and Sea Salt Butter. To round out the menu, Chef Jody will share their Apricot Gorganzola Dip, Pimento Cheese Spread, Vinaigrettes which can double as Marinades, Cheese Samplings, Brining, and a lesson on Deviled Eggs.
