Sub-Zero Classic Series (BI) Door Shelf Loose

Answer:

Classic Series (BI) overlay models have a slight bow in the door that goes flat to accommodate custom panels when the product is cold. When a panel is installed and the unit is cool, the foam in the door may constrict. As a result, the edges of the door liner can pull in, and the shelves can feel looser than normal.

  • To prevent this, install the door shelves so the plastic arm goes into the upper or middle key way on the shelf.
  • Of the three slots on the sides of each shelf, the middle provides the best fit.
  • If the arm goes into the lower key slot, the shelf will be loose in the door liner.
