Proper cleaning and descaling help prevent and remove food odors.

  • The oven cavity will turn gold over time; this is normal.
  • If moisture is not removed from the floor after steam cooking, some corrosion may occur in the cavity; this is normal.

After Each Use

  1. Wait for oven to cool until just warm to the touch.
  2. Use a soft cloth to wipe up spills and food debris.
  3. Empty the water tank and allow it to dry.
    • Do not place the water tank in the dishwasher.
    • Water marks in the water tank and oven cavity will be removed during descaling.

Fume Free Oven Cleaner

Easy-Off Fume Free Oven Cleaner can be used when the oven is cold and off.

  1. Spray walls and bottom, but spray onto a cloth for the back wall and ceiling; if sprayed directly on the back wall or ceiling, the oven is safe to use, but may have an odor the first time the oven is used after cleaning.
  2. Close the door, turn off the light, and let it sit for 2 hours.
  3. Wipe out the interior with damp paper towels.
  4. Turn the oven to Steam Mode at 210° for 10 - 20 min.
  5. Brown water will likely pool and is a normal result of residue that was missed from the paper towels.
