L Series Wall Oven Bake Stone Error

Topics:

  • "Stone," "Bake Stone In," or "No Bake Stone" appear in the display.
  • Bake Stone Element not recognized when plugged into the receptacle.
  • Bake Stone Element is sensed when it is not plugged into the receptacle.
  • At what serial number was the Bake Stone heating element receptacle removed from the L Series Wall Oven?
  • Differences between the Original series Bake Stone and Post Serial Number 16000000.

Troubleshooting:

L Series Wall Ovens before serial number 16000000 had a sales accessory bake stone heating element that was plugged into a receptacle in the oven, near the bottom of the back wall.

  • A ceramic plug covers the bake stone element receptacle when the bake stone is not in use.
  • It is possible for all other modes to function properly with the bake stone heating element plugged into the receptacle; however, Wolf does not suggest leaving the element plugged in when not in use.

If the error appears when the bake stone is in place:

  1. The bake stone heating element must be plugged in when using Bake Stone Mode.
  2. If the bake stone calrod heating element is plugged in and not recognized, the element receptacle may be bad. Unplug and install the element and test it again.
  3. If these steps do not resolve the issue, no further troubleshooting advice is available. Contact Factory Certified Service to schedule an appointment for repair.

If the error appears when the bake stone is not in place:

  1. Reseat the white ceramic plug and retest unit operation.
  2. If these steps do not resolve the issue, no further troubleshooting advice is available. Contact Factory Certified Service to schedule an appointment for repair.
