- Always apply cleaner and polish in the same direction as the grain.

To disinfect stainless steel, use 70% rubbing alcohol:
- Clean surface before disinfecting.

- 70% rubbing alcohol is more cost effective and works more quickly than 91% rubbing alcohol.
- Sub-Zero and Wolf does not recommend using bleach to disinfect appliance exteriors, as it can damage the stainless steel.
- Wipe following the direction of the grain, and let air dry.
Ammonia is safe for cleaning stainless steel.
- After using ammonia, clean the surface with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly to prevent hazing.
- There is no solution ratio for ammonia. If the solution is too strong (odor is present), dilute with water as needed.
- For better results, keep the cloth in continuous contact with the stainless steel or platinum.
Signature Polish is a recommended cleaner and polish. See Purchase Signature Polish for more information.
- Always shake Signature Polish before applying to stainless steel to prevent streaking.
- When streaking occurs, clean the area with rubbing alcohol and start over with polishing.
