Wolf Ranges, Wall Ovens, or Rangetops Flush Installation

Topics:

  • Dual Fuel Ranges, IR Induction Ranges, R Series Gas Ranges, GR Series Gas Ranges, Rangetops, or Sealed Burner Rangetops should be installed so the front of the bullnose is flush with the front of the cabinets
  • Install a DF, IR, R, GR, RT, or SRT into a cabinet deeper than installation specifications state
  • Install Wolf Wall Ovens in flush inset applications or deeper than 24" cabinets

Answer:

Installation of Wolf Ranges, Wall Ovens, and Rangetops in cabinetry deeper than Wolf specifications is possible with the following considerations:

  • Consider the side panel material against ranges, as heat may dissipate from the unit and cause discoloration or damage to the unit or cabinetry.
  • Do not enclose the kickplate area of the range. The leveling legs and electrical and gas shut-off valve (depending on location) must be accessible under the unit.
  • Municipality requirements may be more restrictive than Wolf's recommendations. Refer to local code for specific information.
  • Wolf always suggests following Wolf Design Guide specifications.
