Answer:
CT Series Electric Cooktops have 10 power levels indicated by 16 LED indicator lights around the burner control.
After a heating zone is touched on, eight LEDs flash to indicate idle mode. While the LEDs are flashing:
- Press the High key for an individual heating zone. The power level jumps to 10.
- Press the Melt or Sim key for an individual heating zone. The power level jumps to 1.
- Press and hold the + key. For each 1/2 second pressed, the heating zone jumps to:
Number of LEDs Illuminated Power Level 10 6 12 7 14 8 15 9 16 10 - Press and hold the - key. For each 1/2 second pressed, the heating zone jumps to:
Number of LEDs Illuminated Power Level 6 4 4 3 2 2 1 1 - Press and release the + key:
- Eight LEDs illuminate, and the power level goes to 5.
- Each additional press of the + key will result in the zone stepping up a level and the corresponding LEDs will illuminate.
- Press and release the - key:
- Eight LEDs illuminate, and the power level goes to 5.
- Each additional press of the - key will result in the zone stepping down a level and the corresponding LEDs will deactivate.
