Microwave Drawer Oven Does Not Begin Cook Cycle when START Pad Is Touched


  • Keypad does not relay commands
  • START pad control malfuncation


  • Metal key/power supply unit
  • Relay (RY2) micro
  • Magnetron
  • Primary or door sensing switch
  • Power transformer
  • HV rectifier assembly
  • High voltage capacitor
  • Short or opened wiring
  • Low voltage


If the Microwave Oven does not begin cooking when the START button is pushed:

  1. Ensure there is power to the product.
  2. Try a second outlet if possible.
  3. Ensure the cook cycle is set correctly. Refer to the product use and care guide for further information.
  4. Turn the home circuit breaker to the unit off for 30 seconds then back on again.
  5. Retest the unit operation.
