Microwave Not Cooking Properly

  • Microwave burning food or not cooking food fully

Cause:

  • Power level too high or too low
  • Cook time too long or too short
  • Performance issue with unit

Troubleshooting:

Undercooked Food

  1. Increase power level if not at 100%.
  2. Increase cooking time.
  3. Verify using correct package instructions based on microwave wattage. See also: Wolf Microwave Wattage by Model.

Overcooked Food

  1. Reduce power level.
  2. Reduce cooking time.

Uneven Cooking

  1. Verify using correct power level.
  2. Verify using correct cooking time.
  3. Make sure the cooking vessel is placed in the center of the microwave.
  4. Verify the turntable tray is rotating when in use.
