Cove House reimagines a longtime summer retreat as a year‑round, multigenerational sanctuary set within the wooded waterfront landscape of Lake Sunapee. Rather than drawing from traditional New England forms, the home embraces a modern architectural language that aligns with the clients’ lifestyle and the site’s natural character. At the heart of the residence, the kitchen operates as both a functional hub and a spatial connector—linking the new home to the existing cottage while anchoring daily life within a carefully crafted architectural whole.

Granite, steel, and Douglas fir are meticulously detailed throughout, reflecting New England craftsmanship and the clients’ appreciation for material integrity and enduring quality.
