Bagels with lox and dill-scallion cream cheese
Everything bagels, toasted with a crisp exterior and and chewy center, are topped with a bright, fresh cream cheese, and smoked salmon. Embellish with your favorite toppings such as tomato, red onion, or capers.
Preparation Method
Make dill-scallion cream cheese:
- Mix all ingredients in a small bowl until well blended.
- If desired, use a food processor to combine ingredients.
Prepare bagel
- Toast bagel halves to medium browning.
- Spread each bagel half with 2-3 tablespoons cream cheese.
- Top with 2 slices of lox.
- Add optional toppings, as desired.
