Bagels with lox and dill-scallion cream cheese

Makes 4 servings

Everything bagels, toasted with a crisp exterior and and chewy center, are topped with a bright, fresh cream cheese, and smoked salmon. Embellish with your favorite toppings such as tomato, red onion, or capers.

Preparation Method

Make dill-scallion cream cheese:  Mix all ingredients in a small bowl until well blended. If desired, use a food processor to combine ingredients.

Toast bagel halves on BAGEL setting, level 5, for medium browning.  Spread each bagel half with 2-3 tablespoons cream cheese. Top with 2 slices of lox. Add optional toppings, as desired.
