Sub-Zero and Wolf Support Hometown Golfers

Madison, Wis. (March 13, 2007) – Madison-based Sub-Zero Freezer Co. and Wolf Appliance Co., industry leaders in residential refrigeration, wine storage and cooking equipment, today announced their sponsorship of two hometown golfers, Jerry Kelly and Sherri Steinhauer.

“Madison has been Sub-Zero’s hometown since our beginning more than 60 years ago, and we are proud to support these elite athletes from our own backyard,” said Jim Bakke, president and CEO for Sub-Zero and Wolf. “Their dedication to excellence and their drive to continually improve upon their game are qualities with which we at Sub-Zero and Wolf value and identify.”

Kelly and Steinhauer, who tour on the PGA and LPGA circuits respectively, have both experienced great success over the course of their careers. Kelly, once a Madison all-city high school hockey player, has two prominent PGA Tour wins to his name – the 2002 Sony Open in Hawaii and the 2002 Advil Western Open – along with five top ten finishes in 2006. Steinhauer has won seven tournaments on the LPGA Tour, including the 1992 du Maurier Classic and the Women's British Open in 1998, 1999 and 2006.

The Sub-Zero and Wolf logos will be featured on the chest of both golfers and on Steinhauer’s bag on a rotational basis throughout the 2007 season. Sub-Zero and Wolf are currently the sole sponsors for both golfers.
