The Chicago Athenaeum Museum recognizes Sub-Zero's 400 Series

WI (February 8, 2002) — Sub-Zero Freezer Company, the leading manufacturer of
residential refrigeration and wine storage units, is the recipient of the
prestigious 2001 GOOD DESIGN™ award from The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of
Architecture and Design for its 400 Series wine storage unit.

The GOOD DESIGN™ program was formed in 1950 by Earl J. Kaufmann,

innovative product concepts. The GOOD DESIGN™ winners will be on exhibit
beginning March 8, 2002.
