Dishwasher Dry Cycle
Topics:
- How does a dishwasher dry dishes?
- How do dishes get dried?
Answer:
The final step in a wash cycle is the dry cycle.
- Cove dishwashers use a fan to circulate the drying air.
- Cove models do NOT use a heater to dry dishes, they only use residual heat from the washing cycle to aid in drying.
- Quick cycles have the shortest drying time so more moisture may be present after the cycle finishes.
- Refer to Cove Dishwasher Wash Cycles for the dry cycle times for each wash option. The times listed are without options selected. If Extra Dry or Extended dry are selected, the times will be longer.
- If dishes are not getting dry, refer to Cove Dishwasher Dishes Not Dry.
Refer to the product use and care guide for further information.
