Designer Column (DEC) Kickplate Adjustment

Tools required:

  • Philips screwdriver
  • T-20 Torx screwdriver

Instructions:

  1. Open the door so the door panel does not interfere with the kickplate.
  2. Remove the decorative kickplate, if present.
  3. Remove the kickplate screws.
  4. Remove the kickplate.
  5. Adjust each bracket by first loosening the adjustment bracket screws.
  6. Adjust the bracket by moving if forward and backward (up to 1.125"), or by angling it up and down.
  7. After adjustment, retighten the adjustment bracket screws.
  8. Place the kickplate over the bottom opening.
  9. Install the kickplate screws.
  10. Install the decorative kickplate, if present.
