  • Whether the original unit had a reduced height grille (to reduce overall unit height to 83") or an extended grille (to increase overall height above 84"). If so, order a new reduced height or extended height grille for the new model. See Classic Series (BI) Grille Height Options.
  • Whether the new model door clearance fits if installed near an island. See the Sub-Zero Design Guide for details.
  • Door clearance for corner installations, as doors open in both directions.

Panels

  • The panels from model 650 will not fit model BI-36UFD.
  • The BI-36UFD is a French door model, so two door panels are needed for the refrigerator.
  • It is not possible to divide the existing panel from the 650 to retrofit it to the BI-36UFD. New custom panels would be needed.
  • Side panels cannot be reused.
