Answer:

Improvements made in 2014 to the Undercounter UC-24 and 424 models include new low profile hinges and a new door closer.

  • There is no longer a detent at 145° on the door hinge. Door still opens to 230° open.
  • No door stop is available for these models.
  • New type door closer mechanism uses a magnetic close to help close the door when partially opened.
  • Door closer will start to pull the door shut at around 2".
