Classic Series (CL) Overlay Panel Retrofit Kit Installation Instructions

To reuse an overlay panel from a BI Classic Series model on a CL Classic Series model, an overlay retrofit kit is required.

• This kit only works with panels from BI Series units.
  • Panels from 600, 500, and 200/300 series units cannot be reused on a CL Series model.
  • There is no retrofit kit for these models.
• Existing overlay grille panels from a BI Series unit can be used on a CL unit.
  • The existing grille panel must be reduced in height by 1-1/2".
• Overlay panels must be a minimum of 5/8" thick to support mounting the handle; panel thickness does not include the backer and spacer panel.
  
• A full-scale template for an overlay or flush inset panel can be found in the Sub-Zero Design Guide.
• Side panels, if present on the BI Series unit, can be reused on the new CL Classic model.
