Sub-Zero Night Mode
Topics:
- How to use night mode on Classic Series (CL) and Designer Series (DET, DEC)
- What is Night Mode?
- Moon or sun icon shown on control panel display
Answer:
When low ambient light is detected, Night Mode automatically reduces interior light brightness up to 90%.
- There is an ambient light sensor near the top of the unit.
- The sensor controls the lights based on the amount of ambient light in the room.
Night mode affects all the lights in the unit, including drawer lights in Over/Under and Tall units.
- The Night Mode indicator appears in the upper-left corner of the control panel display when night mode is turned on and when low ambient light is detected.
- To increase brightness when low light is detected, tap the indicator.
To turn night mode on or off using the control panel:
Tap the Settings icon on the Home screen. The Settings screen appears
Tap the Right Arrow to move to the Night Mode icon
Tap the Night Mode Icon to turn Night Mode on and off
- When Night Mode is on, a sun or moon appears in the upper left-hand corner of the Home screen. The amount of external light determines if the sun or moon is shown.
- Night mode regulates the interior based on the external light level.
- If the sun is shown in the upper left-hand corner, the interior lights are on normally.
- If the moon is shown in the upper left-hand corner, the interior lights are dimmed.
Tap the Return icon or wait 10 seconds to return to the Home screen
