Cause:

  • Electrical supply error

Troubleshooting:

  1. Cookware can be a contributing factor for causing error E6. Cookware for Induction Cooktops needs to be flat, smooth, and have enough iron material to create a strong magnetic pull.
  2. If a CI Induction Cooktop shows error code E6, turn the home circuit breaker to the unit off for 30 seconds then back on again.
  3. Retest the unit operation. If the unit operates without any further errors, no action is required.
