Answer:

Before using the EC2450 or EC3050 Coffee System for the first time:

1. Slide the unit forward and press the main power button.
   
2. If the screen shows the Wolf logo and then goes blank, press the Standby switch to activate the touchscreen.
   
   
3. Use the test strip provided to determine water hardness.
4. Clean the unit thoroughly with hot water and a mild detergent. 
5. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth. 
6. Open the service door, then remove the water tank.
   NOTE: If installed, the water spout must be removed to open the service door. 
   
   
7. Fill the water tank with water. 
8. Insert the hot water spout. Two beeps indicate the spout is installed correctly. 
   
   
9. Place the rinse container below the spout. 
10. Select the desired language. To select, scroll through the languages until the desired language appears, then touch the corresponding icon. 
11.  Touch OK. Hot water is dispensed from the hot water spout.
    • The unit goes through an automatic rinse cycle upon initial start-up and before turning off.
    • A small amount of liquid will dispense from the coffee spout during the rinse cycle.
