Cause:

• Rinse and Hold cycle was used
• Detergent compartment solenoid failed
  
• Push button on dispenser broken or jammed
  
• Items blocking the detergent door
• Detergent pod placed incorrectly inside detergent cup and closed

Troubleshooting:

1. Press the dispenser lid button.
2. Make sure items are not blocking the detergent door.
3. Try to pry the detergent compartment open manually.
4. Clean out the compartment with soap and water if able to open it.
