Cove Dishwasher Moisture on Interior After Cycle Complete
Topics:
- Door wet after wash cycle completed
- Water drops covering inside of Cove door after program ends
- Wet side walls
- Water drops on interior of Cove after wash is done
- Excessive condensation in Cove
Troubleshooting:
Condensation after a cycle completes can occur for many reasons:
- Some condensation on the door and inner walls is considered normal.
- Warm moist air in the unit condenses to the cooler stainless steel surfaces if not allowed to breathe.
- Drying cycle was cut short by the customer.
- Lower temp cycles that do not break down fats, oils, or proteins.
- Opening is too small for the unit, causing insufficient airflow.
- Custom door panel that is too long. Panel that hangs lower along the toe kick will block the entry/exit port, which is an air exchange.
- Not using rinse aid.
- Custom toe kick without a cutout for the air exchange.
- The upper right corner of any kickplate exceeding 3-3/8" in height must be notched to allow for airflow; refer to the product Installation Guide for further installation information.

If condensation occurs after a cycle is complete:
- Make sure rinse aid compartment is full prior to running a cycle. See Add Rinse Aid to Cove Dishwasher.
- Adjust washer settings to improve overall drying performance. See Cove Dishwasher Dishes Not Dry.
- Try a high heat, Extended Dry cycle. See Cove Dishwasher Dishes Not Dry.
- Leave the door ajar after running a cycle.
