Answer:

All three levels of the Project Sales Service Program feature a 5-year full warranty for all Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove products. A Project Program Warranty confirmation letter is not available. Modify a general warranty confirmation letter as needed.

• The warranty begins upon occupancy.
• Units will be automatically registered to the project.
• Serial numbers will indicate the units have the 5-year project warranty.
• The project warranty cannot be combined with Sub-Zero Care Plus.
• Installation completed by a Factory Certified Installation provider does not qualify for one additional year.
• Products with the project warranty are not eligible for an extended 3 years with Sub-Zero Care Plus.
• If the customer selects SZCP as part of the NCP program, and some products have a Project Warranty listed and others do not:
  • Instruct the customer to submit the NCP redemption for the $1000 rebate.
  • For products that are part of the redemption, and would normally qualify for SZCP, extend the warranties to match the products included in the Project Warranty. Refer to Sub-Zero Care Plus for a list of Qualifying Products.
  • Use Warranty Type: CS Warranty Ext and provide a 5-year full warranty. Refer to Product Warranty Extension for instructions.
  • Products that are not a part of the NCP redemption do not qualify for the warranty extension.
• DO NOT select Project Warranties for products. If the product qualified for the project warranty, it will be updated on a monthly basis with a list supplied by Finance.
• The warranty does not start until the customer calls or emails [email protected] to complete the registration.
• Questions regarding eligibility for the warranty should be directed to the Product Distributor for the customer's region.
• Refer to the 2021 Sales Program Updates memo for more information.
• If a product containing a Project Warranty is replaced, the new product does not receive the Project Warranty. 

Units installed as part of the project sales service program do not qualify for the Factory Certified Installation extra year. This warranty adds three years to the normal residential warranty.

• Sub-Zero units will receive the Sealed System Parts Only Warranty for years 6 to 12.
• The 5-year full warranty takes the place of the parts only warranty for years 3 to 5 for Wolf products.
