Dispenser Ice Comes Out Too Fast
Topics:
- Ice coming out of the dispenser too fast
- How to slow ice cubes from falling so hard or breaking glasses in dispenser models
- Ice cubes fall all over when using dispenser
- Ice cubes scatter when ejected from the dispenser chute
Answer:
If ice comes out too fast in a Classic (BI), 685, or 695 dispenser model, the unit can be put into an ice dispenser delay mode.
- See Dispenser Ice Delay.
- Models 590, 690, and 680 do not have this option.
- Use a larger glass, press the button for a few seconds, and release and press again if more ice is desired.
- The water and ice come out to the rear and left of the center opening.
- Do not place the glass directly on the drip tray. It is intended to catch water and not act as a shelf.
- Holding the glass up to the rear and left of center will allow ice and/or water to land in the glass properly.
