Sub-Zero Grille Vibration

  • Loud buzzing, vibration, or rattling noise is coming from top of Sub-Zero.

Troubleshooting:

  1. Ensure noise is not related to fan motor or compressor operation, refer to:
  2. Ensure proper grille installation:
    • For 200/300, 500, and 600 Series units:
      • Verify grille springs are securely attached to back of grille & floor of compressor area.
      • Verify grille screw is installed and securely inserted into bottom of grille.
      • Refer to the product use and care guide for further information.
    • For 648PRO units ensure grille assembly is properly attached to unit.
    • For Classic (Formerly Built-In) (BI) Series units ensure grille assembly is properly attached to unit.
