Answer:

Purchase Replacement Parts:

Replace CG Gas Cooktop grate foot pads using the grate pads and adhesive kit, part number 826885. Contact a Factory Certified Parts Distributor to order parts.

  • The kit contains four replaceable pads, adhesive, and instructions.
    • Loctite 598 black high-performance RTV silicone may be available locally.
    • Adhesive only can be purchased using part number 815178.
    • Kit also works with the accessory wok grate.
    • The kit also works with the CG152TF/S, MM15TF/S, and GM15TF/S modules.

Replacement Instructions:

  1. Remove any pieces of the old pad from the grate.
  2. Apply a pea size amount of adhesive in the indentation of the grate.
  3. Press new pad firmly into grate.
  4. Wipe off any excess adhesive that may have seeped out when the new pad was inserted.
  5. Repeat steps above for each corner (if applicable).
  6. Allow adhesive to cure for 24 hours before use.
    • Note: It is recommended that the grate stay inverted while the adhesive cures to avoid any possible adhesive leakage onto other surfaces.
  7. After 24 hours, place the grate back in place on the unit.

Refer to CG Gas Cooktop Grate Pad Replacement Instructions for further information.

These instructions and parts are for CG Gas Cooktops only.

  • These pads will not work on CT model cooktops, or other model lines such as Dual Fuel or Integrated Modules (IM15).
  • For instructions and part numbers for other models, refer to Burner Grate Pad Replacement.

Grate Pad Tips:

  • The grate foot extends past the grate, so if the grate is lifted and rocked on the pad, the rubber foot can pop out.
    • Front-to-back or side-to-side movement will cause this as well.
  • Minimize movement of heavy pots and pans while on the burner grate.
    • This includes sliding back and forth repeatedly with heavy masses on the burner grate.
