- Do Wolf Induction Cooktops have a Sabbath mode?
- If a pot is removed while the element is turned on, will the burner turn off?
- Is the IR Induction Range Star-K compliant?
Answer:
There is no Sabbath mode available on Wolf Induction Cooktops, and the products are not Star-K compliant for Sabbath use.
- The burner element will shut off if there is no pot or pan on the element.
- If a pot or pan is removed or if no cookware is placed on the element after approximately 10 seconds, the control panel shuts off power to the burner.
- If a pot is left on with the element on, eventually the pot contents will boil dry and the cooktop will shut down.
- The Induction Range Oven does have a Sabbath mode and is Star-K compliant. The surface cooktop is not.
- Refer to Induction Range Sabbath Mode for more information.
