Troubleshooting:

  1. If an Outdoor Gas Grill (OG) or BBQ Grill does not light within approximately five seconds, turn the knob to Off.
  2. Make sure that proper lighting sequence is followed. Refer to the product Use and Care Guide for product-specific information.
  3. Make sure unit and burners are clean.
  4. Verify gas supply is turned on.
  5. Check electrical outlet for power.
  6. Try to light the unit manually. See Manually Light OG Outdoor Gas Grill.
  7. Make sure if the unit is on an LP tank, the tank has gas in it.
  8. If the LP tank was recently filled:
    1. Open the hood.
    2. Open the valve for three seconds.
    3. Close the valve.
    4. Repeat two to three times to purge air from the lines.
