Cooktop Protector or Towel Use on a Wolf Induction Cooktop
Topics:
- Can a towel or silicone pad be used on a Wolf Induction Cooktop between the burner and the pot or pan?
- Glass, parchment paper, diffuser plate, towel, silicone pad, or other barrier on a Wolf Induction Cooktop
- Cooktop Glass Protection
- Induction Cooktop burner cover
Answer:
Using any kind of barrier between the pan and the burner is not recommended on Wolf Induction Cooktops.
- A barrier will decrease cooking performance and may prevent cookware from being detected.
- There is a possibility of the pan burning the barrier.
Take care when sliding cookware across the surface of the cooktop. Pots and pans with rough surfaces on the bottom can scratch the glass top.
