Answer:

The clock must be set before use and after a power outage.

To set the clock:

1. Touch Stop/Clear.
2. Touch Timer/Clock:
   • If clock is not set, such as for first-time setup or after a power outage, touch once for 12-hour mode or twice for 24-hour mode.
   • If clock is already set, touch twice to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour modes.
3. Use the number pads to enter the time of day, then touch Start.

The clock cannot be disabled or turned off. The display brightness is not adjustable.
