Connected Appliance Portal Connected Status
The connected status field updates automatically based on a product's connection state and cannot be changed manually. Use Connected Appliance Portal to find the connected status of a product.
- A unit retrofitted for connected automatically updates the connected status to "connected ready" or "connected" less than 10 minutes after connection.
- If there is uncertainty about the connected status of an appliance, use CDP to see if the appliance is connected or not. Units connected for field service purposes may not show the correct status in Connected Appliance Portal.
- Verify the serial number of the product to determine if the unit is connected ready or connected capable with Connectivity Kit Lookup.
