Sub-Zero Basket or Drawer Glides Squeak

Topics:

  • Drawer or basket rails or glides in Sub-Zero squeak or make noise when pushed in or pulled out
  • Resolve noisy drawer glide or rail in refrigeration product
  • Grease or lubricant for drawer in Sub-Zero refrigerator or freezer

Answer:

If a drawer or basket rail or glide inside a Sub-Zero is noisy or squeaks when the drawer or basket is pulled in and out, the rail must be replaced. Lubricating the rail is not an option because the inside of the unit is very cold. Typical household lubricants will not suffice to correct the issue.
