Troubleshooting:

Depending on cooking style, temperature and length of time, condensation forming on the ventilation hood may be normal; for example, boil water or steaming foods.

  2. Move the cooking vessel closer to the center of the ventilation airflow.
  3. The ventilation hood may be undersized for the range or cooktop.
  4. The ventilation hood filters may be dirty and restricting airflow; refer to:
  5. Depending on installation, something may be blocking proper airflow exhaust from the roof or wall cap; for example, snow over roof cap, birds nesting in wall cap, excessive winds blowing towards roof or wall cap.
    1. Carefully and safely remove any restriction.
    2. Roof or wall cap may need to be moved if issue continually returns.
  6. Improper installation may contribute to condensation and reduced performance.
