Troubleshooting

The childproof lock is used to lock the control panel on the Convection Steam Oven. The childproof lock can be turned on through the User Settings.

  • The childproof lock prevents commands from being entered inadvertently.
  • The childproof lock does not lock the door. The oven door cannot be locked.

The instructions below apply to the Convection Steam Oven. For Legacy models, refer to:

To Set Childproof Lock:

  1. On the oven control panel, touch the Settings icon. 
  2. Touch Display Lock.
  3. Touch the Display Lock that appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen. The Lock screen appears. 

To Exit Childproof Lock:

  1. Press and hold the Lock icon for 3 seconds.
  2. Touch the Back arrow to return the Settings screen.
