The control panel lock feature prevents unwanted microwave operation.

To lock the controls on MW Standard and MWC Convection Microwaves:

  1. Touch Help.
  2. Touch 1.
  3. Touch Start/Quick On.
  4. "Lock" (MWC) or "Child Lock On" (MW) appears on the control panel display if the controls are touched.

To unlock the controls:

  1. Touch Help.
  2. Touch Stop/Clear.
  3. "Child Lock Off" appears on the control panel display.
