Classic Series (CL) Water Filter Replacement

Answer:

Icon Information

  • The water filter needs to be replaced after either approximately one year passes, or the appliance filters the volume of water that the filter is rated for. 
  • The water filter indicator appears as four drops of water passing through a horizontal sheet of paper.

Replace Water Filter

To change the water filter:

  1. Rotate the top grille upward to access the water filter.
  2. Rotate the water filter counterclockwise one-quarter turn, then remove. Wipe up any water spillage.
  3. Remove the plastic cap from the new water filter.
  4. Insert the water filter, and turn it one-quarter turn clockwise to lock it in place.
  5. Rotate the top grille downward.

To turn off the water filter indicator :

  1. On the control panel, touch Settings, then scroll to the Water Filter icon and select it.
  2. Touch Life Remaining, then hold Refresh to reset the water filter life counter to 100%.
  3. The water filter lasts for approximately one year before it needs to be replaced again.
