Steps to Verify Issue:

  1. Make sure brew basket is in place and drawer is fully closed.
  2. Remove coffee from basket, leaving the brew basket in the drawer. Zero scale, then add coffee.


"Add Coffee" appears next to the scale icon. This message indicates more coffee needs to be added for the desired Brew Strength and Cups to Brew selected during ACCU-BREW mode.

  • Press the ZERO button to reset the coffee scale to zero.
  • Add coffee until the scale icon appears.
  • Refer to the product Use and Care Guide for further information.
