Sub-Zero Model 590 Master Power Switch

Topics:

  • How do you turn off the power for a 590?
  • What is the switch behind the grille for on a 590?
  • Why does the 590 have a master power switch?

Answer:

Sub-Zero model 590 features a master power switch.

This switch, found behind the top grille, turns off electrical power to the unit.
This eliminates turning power off at the circuit breaker or unplugging the unit from the wall receptacle.
Use the switch for shutting down the equipment for servicing or during extended vacations.
In order to access this switch, the front inner grille panel assembly must first be removed.
Switch is on the left-hand side, in front of the left-most compressor.
