Pure Air Icon Flashing

The Pure Air icon flashes when the air cartridge needs to be replaced.

  • This occurs after 365 days of use while the unit is on and the air filter is on.
  • This occurs earlier if the bulb inside the cartridge burns out.

No harm will be done to the Sub-Zero unit if the air filter is not replaced or not used.

Replace Air Filter

If the Pure Air icon flashes intermittently, refer to the product-specific instructions to replace the filter and to stop the Pure Air icon flashing:

Reset Air Filter

Resetting the filter varies by product. Refer to the instructions below for product-specific reset instructions:

    Reset Filter Life in Mobile App

    • The air filter cannot be reset through the mobile app. 
    • Filter life must first be reset on the appliance according to instructions above.
