Sub-Zero Group Owner's App Connected Turned Off

Internal Considerations/Guidelines

  • If the customer disconnects their Wi-Fi and the appliances still appear, email [email protected] to remove the device from the app.

Answer

When "Connect" is Off on Sub-Zero Appliances:

  • There will be no change to the appliances behavior.
  • After the appliance has been disconnected there will be no indication on the App (the appliance won't appear grayed out)
  • The appliance will still respond to setpoint changes, light changes, and requests for data. 
  • The appliance will reject requests to enter specific modes (e.g. Vacation Mode, High Use Mode).
  • Some functions will fail.

When "Connect" is Off on Wolf Appliances:

  • There will be no change to the appliances behavior.
  • After the appliance has been disconnected there will be no indication on the App (the appliance won't appear grayed out)
  • The appliance will still respond to setpoint changes, light changes, and requests for data. 
  • The appliance will now allow the user to make it "Remote Ready."
  • All functions will work with the exception of "Initiate Cooking."

When "Connect" is Off on Cove Appliances:

  • The appliance will not be powered
  • Application will not be able to find the appliance.
  • Appliance cannot be paired or interacted with.
  • Appliance removes power from Connected Module.
