Ice Cubes Fall Behind Ice Bucket

Cause:

  • Ice bucket not installed properly
  • Icemaker shut-off arm missing or broken

Steps to Verify Issue:

Ice should collect in the ice bucket. If the bucket is overflowing, or the bucket does not contain ice:

  2. Ensure the ice maker shut-off arm is attached.
  3. Verify the plastic rudder arm (if applicable) is attached to the shut-off arm. See also, Ice Maker Control Arm Falls Off.
