Placing Items on Oven Door

Topics:

  • Can food or cookware be placed on the oven door or glass?
  • Something was put on oven door and now porcelain is damaged
  • Something was set on oven glass and glass shattered, cracked, webbed, broke

Answer:

Do not place food or cookware on the oven door liner or glass of any Wolf oven.

  • This may cause permanent cosmetic damage to the oven door liner or glass, which is not covered by the Wolf Warranty.
  • This includes the MDD Drop-Down Door Microwave.
  • If damaged, no troubleshooting advice is available. Contact Factory Certified Service to schedule an appointment for repair.

For Dual Fuel (DF) Ranges, L Series Ovens, and E Series Ovens only:

  • These units have a full-extension door glide rack that is designed to be placed in the lowest rack position. It can be pulled out of the unit and directly onto a rail on the oven door.
  • This feature helps to ease inserting, removing, and basting large or heavy foods.
  • For more information, refer to Wolf Oven Full-Extension Door Rack.

Refer to the product Use and Care Guide for further information.
