Troubleshooting:

The utensil basket is found at the front of the lower rack and can be removed.

To remove the utensil basket:

  1. Pull the lower rack out to full extension.
  2. Lift the basket up and out.

Answer:

Knives and other utensils with sharp points must be loaded in the basket with their points down or placed in a horizontal position.
